Harvest feast at Rosendals trädgård

Harvest feast at Rosendals trädgård

This weekend the garden Rosendals Trädgård in Stockholm celebrated their yearly Harvest feast. I contributed with a colourful table setting in their summer house in the cottage garden.

The sunflowers was in full bloom in lush green and yellow, and together with linen fabrics and cushions, vintage porcelain and mixed old glases they made the space feel happy and warm. Circular living and organic farming is the foundation for the garden and I wanted that to show also in the inspiration for how one can set a table for a celebration.

Apples or flowers, a bouquet can be interpreted in many ways.

The garden team had harvested their crop, the sweetest carrots, a wide variety of apples and pears, pumpkins and more was offered at the market, all organic.

The bakery is always amazing and ones having tried their bread it's the only one you want. Their entire bakery was actually built around their big wood burning oven, which is the largest one in Stockholm I believe. They use birch wood which burn slow and for a very long time and the scents and flavours created are amazing.

Magical food was served by Master chef Paul Svensson and Jonas Bolling and team, who just got the newly built kitchen up and running, and the outdoor grill "Herbarium", where green food and vegetables and herbs lead the way. I'm looking very much forward to see what they are going to create during this autumn.

They guys said the most wonderful thing is to arrive early at work, overlooking the garden and watch the sun rise, while preparing the food. The new kitchen and food area is a contemporary building with a nice relationship to it's heritage and the greenhouse aesthetics, created by talented Swedish Architects Jordens Arkitekter.

Thank you Tin-Tin, Victoria and the entire team for having me.

Come visit next time you are out and about on the weekend and stay tuned because more projects are to come from me and Rosendals trädgård.
